Webmaster taumarunui-nz.com Associated with Dragon Networks, New Zealand

A website to represent the rural KC community centred on Taumarunui, http://taumarunui-nz.com/

I do not have much on the Taumarunui website as yet, but you can see its potential to develop by checking my Piopio site, www.piopionz.com which has been public only since April 2006 and is already so big I have had to include a search engine as well as its Directory Page. I frequently reorganise the directory page to keep it user friendly.

I am keen for the Taumarunui site to become an information resource for the greater Taumarunui district.

Directory page
A FREE entry of three or 4 lines in the Directory page will state your own or your business Name (linked to your webpage if you have one), type of business, and your contact details - phone, mobile, and email if you wish (being aware that advertising this on a webpage can encourage spam).

YOUR OWN WEBPAGE on this site:-
This is an information service to the community. To cover the actual cost of running the website I need to charge for individual pages. However this is nowhere near as expensive as having your own full website (which can cost over $2000). To be an effective comprehensive information site, I keep costs within everyone's reach, and I do not charge non-profit organisations such as schools.

Your web-page on the site with the URL http://www.yourname.taumarunui-nz.com/ costs only $45 (incl gst) per year. This includes a Gallery photo album of 10 photos, with $10 charge for each additional 10-photo page.
You need permission from any person featured in photos, and I do not name children in photos. (There really are too many paedophiles on the world wide web.)

You send information, photos etc to me and I do all the techy stuff.

Your individual webpage can include password acess to your own sections of the Noticeboard. You will find a link on www.piopionz.com to our Piopio Noticeboard where text versions of school newsletters and community notices are easily uploaded by authorised persons. This can be useful in advertising upcoming events, advising changes in schedules etc. (A similar noticeboard will be added to the Taumarunui site when needed.) A part of your section can be protected by a readers' password for your members.

I would appreciate your sending me e-mail addresses to any organisations in or serving the Taumarunui district so I can contact them.

Regards,
Gaynor McCartney.
